9. Your overall satisfaction with the tire on a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best tire you've ever owned: Cheap tire that's unstopable offroad. They are pretty bad on-road (loud, rough), however, so buy a 2nd set of wheels/tires. Overall rating: 6, rating as a 2nd set of "weekend" tires: 9

they are great road tires with an AT look, they do great at clearing water at highway speeds. but..... BUT... they are terrible off road.. my BFG rugged trails with 26k miles did better in the mud than these do... i got stuck in a foot of snow with my back tires 2 feet from the edge of the snow.. the second you hit mud, you can feel you truck slide sideways.. almost no mud traction..
good road tires with good look, pretty good on dirt, sand, and some rocks, but pathetic in snow and mud.. so i have to give it a 6 since most of my driving is on the road, but the performance is bad enough offroad that it deserves a 6

I know r6ryder made a typo regarding exact tire size... but I got to thinking.

Kinda too bad a Firestone Destination MT 285/70/16 doesn't exist because I'd buy it in a heartbeat (house only has a 7' garage door and I like to park my X inside).

The sidewall height would be just 0.03" higher/taller and the overall diameter would be just 0.06" taller, but the tire width would be 0.79" wider. This size wouldn't change speedometer reading much (+0.14 mph @ 75 mph) and probably wouldn't affect mpg much.

5. Where did you purchase this tire?: craigslist
6. Price per tire?: $125 (less than 100 miles. still had the wax pencil marks on the tread)
7. Were any modifications to your truck's height or wheel well made prior to the installation of these tires? Y/N: Yes
8. If so, what were they? (If applicable): 2.5" daystar lift, melt mod
9. Your overall satisfaction with the tire on a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best tire you've ever owned: 7 The tread wears extremely fast.

I drove on them for about 500 miles on the street and the rear tires lost about 1/8" of tread. They are the softest tires I have ever used. They are amazing in the mud and sand. I have never seen a tire that cleans like this. They clean better than baja claws or bfg mud terrains. They are perfect for a second set of tires that only get used on the trail.

will get better pictures later
