That is very cool. I wonder how well it really works. It's only $2K. You'll easily spend that on an average welder and plasma torch.

yep you do weld with a stick ( like tig) its in one of their videos. Also i do not believe their claims for cutting power or welding power. On the video it looked like it was barely able to fuse the two pieces they had laying out.

No thanks, perhaps if it were connected to a CNC machine but there is no way I am going to hold that giant screw gun looking torch all day while welding.
It is interesting but I prefer all the different equipment I use to that one gizmo.

I would be interested to see what that stainless steel looked like after it was "welded" together.
