I used a wax and degreasing solvant then mineral spirit to dry out the plastic then wet sanded all the pieces with 600 grit paper then clean again. Before painting wipe it down with tach cloth. After that I used adhesion promoter and then 3 coats of sandable primer. onece the primer is dry you wet sand till its smooth to the touch with 600 grit and wipe with tach cloth. Now its ready for the base coat, I layed four layers waiting 15 min between each coat time. Once completely dry usually next day wet sand with 1000 grit till paint is smooth. Now I buffed the paint with 3M rubbing compound Perfect-it-II you can get it at pepboys. Buff until the paint is smooth, then clear coat it 4 layers waiting 15min between coats let it dry completely then install. Wait a couple of days then you buff with a polish 3M polish works well, which I havent had time to do yet waiting untill this weekend to do. Very important that you do not wax it or use anything that has wax or sylicon in it for about a month or two just keep it clean with mild car soap with no wax you have to give the paint time to breath and cure or later on it will just peal off and did all that work for nothing. Hopes this was helpful.

Hi, I really like the chrome kit (door handles and mirrors). I'm wondering if you can share with us where you got them from and how much?

Thanks
