Thanks for hosting, Dave.
That rattle on my skidplate is a little annoying; it happens every time I hit 1250 RPM. I am going to check it sometime before this weekend. I'm thinking that the bolts I used that go through the front of the transmisssion skid and rear of the engine skid may be to long and they topped off inside the X-member.

Not a Prob
Made a new roof light wiring harness and installed but need to mount the quick disco and run another ground wire as I only had one. I was fine with 4 55w bulbs but I'm running 100w now and that ground got a little warm when I fired all the lights one time.
Full Day MOD DAY today 2/10/10
Because of the "snow" we are getting in RI today our company closed the doors. SO, I'm working all day on the X inside a nice WARM shop.
If any of you local fools wants to swing buy and work on you trucks feel free.
Here is my cell #
802-598-7506
Call or Txt and I'll give you the address in N. Kingstown, RI.
If you have the address swing by, call before just in case I jumped over to the parts store
Diff cover is going on today ( I went a little crazy with the paint and put 7 coats of Prime and 5 coats of Alum color on top and then 4 coats of clear). LOL
Roof lights will fire up again today with 100w bulbs.
Pulled my H1s out of the Bumper lights ( bad seal in the housing and would allow moisture in the housing).
I like the HIDs, but burnt one out from over firing and bad seal. I'm going back to 100w Xenons but in Yellow. No more housing issues as I replaced the Hella 4000 housing w/ the HID 1" hole in the back for stock housing ( No hole ).
Come one come all

We got about 6-8" of the heavy stuff.
The wind was crazy and the roads to Newport were covered. I don't think the plows hit those roads till after 10pm or so.
I was making fresh tracks on rt4 and 138. Poor little Mazda 3 was having a heck of a time in it.

Not a prob at all. Glad you were able to swing by.
Again anytime I'm around and ya need a hand PM me or give me a call.
On the Mod Front - took off the old Diff cover and did the prep for the new BTF Diff cover.
Noticed the dang E-Brake hanger and fabbed one out for some sheet metel ( came out pretty good but took some time ).
RTV'd the axle and went to put the BTF diff cover on and IT DIDN'T FIT!!!
Dang It!
I knew all the holes lined up as I checked with the stock cover. What I didn't notice was the BTF cover was 1/4" narrower that the stock and gets hung up on these two deals ( haven't a clue what these things are so they are Deals ).
I got pics and will be posted tomorrow.
X is in the shop w/ stock cover back on but no fluid. I have to get shrock Diff cover and install that in the Am before work so Boss isn't pissed.
Dang It!!!
2nd Mod day that went to total ****.
I should stick to working on other peoples Rigs.
