so this tsb means that if the symptoms show that this is worn/broken then nissan will cover the entire repair at no cost to u? or do u have to cover part and then they cover part. Im at 7xxxx+ miles and im not sure if i have the problem outlined. I dont want to take my X in and have them say that they will replace it, and then pick the truck up and have to pay the full price for the repair...

In PA (and everywhere else I believe) you have to sign the paper when droppng off the truck that has an estimate of the work. They need to contact you before going ahead with any repair.
Our Pathfinder had the new TSB done under warranty (first TSB did not cure the whine) at 15k miles. The truck was in for two days, so the labor cost is the issue not the parts.

Xguy, if your dealer is good ... and reeaaallly likes you, they may decide to cover it on good faith since it's a known issue. I'd take it some place they know you, and see if you can sweet talk them a bit.
But, confirm that it is the timing chain, first ...
