I put them facing down because they would not fit side by side facing down, not other special reason. I suppose down would allow for the easiest draining of "trail liquids".

Stephen, we're doing the install now and we couldn't get the one on the left to mount facing sideways due to the tranny cooler... as we looked back at yours we didn't see yours! Did you move your tranny cooler over or something?

Just throwing this out there... on the '08, the horns are under the air filter box. Hope no one took apart their grill on accident!

Did you use the stock bracket or the bracket provided with the horn kit?

Oh, and we did NOT wire tap the lines. One of the guys had a soldering kit and just soldered the wires.
