Were you able to use the wiring that was there from the Hellas, or did you have to run a new harness for them?
I like the 8 inch Pro Comps vs. the Hella 6 inchers. I'm considering swapping out my Hellas for the same Pro Comps, which prompts the question above.

Initially, yes. But then we ran into the issue of blowing fuses, so we pulled the Hella wiring and just used the ones that were already on the ProComp's (all but the power wire, which we just re-ran through the fire hole and connected up w/ the two from the lights and then again at the relay for the switch). I am still blowing fuses like crazy, can't figure out where the problem is...

Thanks, I'm liking the look at least a lot better than the Hella's. Hopefully I will like the light better once I get them to work! And his, Nick's, are huge in person! He said he has clear lenses for them too but I kinda like the bug-eye look.

I bet your lights will be sweet. Nick's lights are huge! I thought they were kinda weird when i first saw them, but they are cool.

Finally got these bad boys to work! Thanks to a group of guys from San Antonio Offroad (www.saoffroad.com) who had nothing better to do than help out the neighborhood cripple! And wow, what a BIG difference these are over those Hella 500's!

Those look great! How much are they a pair? Do they come in yellow for fog? Think you could get a pic of the light they throw out?
