I dig this thought looks a bit meaner, although I still like it how it is currently but I am completely biased.

A few color schemes I like.

Granite

Blue/White

Off White/Black

Black/Silver

I also fancy straight silverish gray.

went on another "little" shopping spree tonight.

Dynamat Bulk Pack
New Carpet
New Dash Pad
New gauge cluster (6 gauges in the dash as opposed to the old school speedo/rpm)

New Bucket Seats (Procar 90's)

and...
New gauges (Speedo, Tach, Oil Press, Fuel, Volts, Temp)

ouch, my wallet hurts. Still need to take care of the headliner. The new front 3-point seat belts showed up today (form retro-belt). I got the first rust patch just about done and started on the second, bigger patch. Tomorrow, I'll finish that up, then it's time to rip apart the remaining trim and the dash. Fun, fun, fun!

Oh, yeah - also ordered a new radiator overflow catchcan that i'll mount on the core support - instead of that monstrosity that's in there now. I still need to order a trans temp gauge (i need to figure out where i'll mount it) and a tranny cooler as well as all new braided line for the trans cooling.

Thanks. I tried to keep it to your model year, as much as I could, to give you perspective.

Default Rust Repair

So, over the course of the last few days, i've been repairing the floor board in areas where it rusted through. Most of the rust is mere surface rust that came clean with a wire wheel. 2 other areas, were rusted straight through. Here's some pics of the repairs. It should be noted, this was my first time welding sheet metal. It's not so bad once you get the hang of it

One of the rusted areas that I removed (under the pass side rear seat)

The new replacement piece welded in (stitch/spot welding takes forever and a day!)

Ground down

The other rust area on the pass front side (where the floorboard meets the firewall)

Now, I have to take the wire wheel to the rest of the floorboard and get it all ready for paint. Then Dynamat later this coming week. The remainder of the interior should be here this week, so I'm hoping to have everything back together in the next couple of weeks. If it's done by Thanksgiving, I may take her to the car show at the Nat'l Western Complex in Denver over Thanksgiving weekend.

found another rust spot yesterday...same thing as the pass side toe board, just on the driver side. damn it! anyway, fixing that today. also just ordered a B&M trans cooler and all the SS braided hoses and fittings to install it - i'm also going to get rid of the hard lines to/from the trans and run braided lines. Stuff is expensive!

The Yenko's are nice. I wonder if they are original.
