I had a quick question about your "high beams with fogs" fuse tap mod. I purchased that same 10A fuse tap and installed it and it worked fine with my fog lights, but when I installed a 35watt HID kit, the 10A fuse (the red one) in the tap blew. Any ideas what could be behind this? Would it be dangerous if I replaced it with a 20A fuse?

hey bro, I had a question about the audio on our trucks.. it would be great if I can get your advise...
I have eclipse avn6600 navi headunit with eclipse 4 channel amp powering 6x9 mbquarts and 6.5 mbquarts rear + alpine monoblock amp for the sub connected to the stock RF sub under the drivers seat. However my question is, I want a deep low bass sound. I would prefer something that doesn't rumble much.. just good clear deep bass. What sub would you recommend for under the seat using the stock sub box??? THanks! oh btw I've spent several hours tuning the xover from the headunit and also from the amp with bass test sound tracks, however, the stock RF 8" sub I have not been able to get passed mid-low bass...

Hey Boss, what type of bull bar do you have on your X? I have been trying to find one without the skid plate and cannot find one anywhere. Thanks

Hey man I'm getting that pioneer head unit and was wondering what you did for the trim rig you were talking about. I'm trying to avoid having to get it installed by an audio place in memphis and was just wondering what you did. Thanks for your help,
    Michael

Hey, I saw the cruiser on your avatar. Are you back into a leo position? Just curious. If so congrats! And, just to second others, thanks for all the really in-depth and well written stuff on audio mods. You clearly are very skilled at audio stuff!

    Xterra 1102,

Thanks a ton for your write-up. I purchased the Pioneer AVH-P3100DVD and infinity Kappa series for the front and back. I have never done an install before, but my question for you is a little more difficult than explaining it to me. It's for my fiancee to install it (AAAHHH) due to the fact that i'm in Iraq haha. She's got zero experience, and I don't even know where to get started with her. (I don't have any experience either but i'm more willing to take things apart and stump myself on how to put them back together) Is there any way that you think you could assist her in this endeavor? I'll show her the pics that are on your how-to. I know my HU comes with a harness, but what else do I need? I do not have the rockford fosgate system, or steering wheel controls. Is and amp a necessity? I don't really have any room for a sub anyways. I appreciate all of your help, I think it's totally awesome that you're helping out other X owners.

    Cheers.

Hi! I was just wondering how you are enjoying your Pioneer unit? I remember you saying something about wanting to use the SD card option. Are you able to navigate through artists and albums and even playlists with that?
