: My daughter
Glucola 11-04-2006, 03:42 PM Hey guys,
Just wanted to share with you all that she just started to crawl right now. I got it on film. She saw the remote control on the floor by our sofa and she was on the other side of the room by the love seat. She looked at it and then tried to crawl toward it. She kept looking at it and got fustrated. Miriam wanted to give it to her and I told her no. She has to learn to do it for herself and then she did. I was lucky enough to have the cam corder basically right next to me when she did it. She'll be 8 months on the 8th!!!

LOL.................. Enjoy it, they don't stay little for long trust me. I still wish mine would be little again. He was sooooo cute.
Take lots of photos cuz the first 2 or 3 years really go by fast.
Now your going to have to bolt every thing down and child proof every thing.
HAHA I'm glad I'm done with that. All though now I have to make sure mine doesn't run out in the road chasing a ball or something.....grrrrrrr
Just wait till she tries to stand up falls and knocks her head on the floor and coffee table........... Oh you have all kinds of fun ahead of you.!
This is my little stud but he's not this little any more.

I can see my time coming soon. My lil guy is almost 6-1/2 months and gets in the "go" position but just can't quite go yet.
kokopop 11-05-2006, 08:51 AM Too funny. Isn't awesome.
Wait until they start pulling themselves up. Nothing like walking into the babies room and seeing them standing up in the crib.
Our little man is into everything.
lostboy 11-05-2006, 09:29 AM thats cool. I used to hate to hear about kids but now that we are expecting one in april kid stories are cool

The thing that we did to help Mariana get in gear was to put a toy just a little out of reach so when she was in the go position she could see it then want it. She would stretch out to get it but couldn't. She'd get all fustrated and to the point of crying. At that point I would give her her toy and she'd be happy.

Old Navy 11-05-2006, 12:49 PM Congrats - my neice at that age didn't learn to crawl, but she was a great roller, as she would always roll under the couch.
