Ok guys, your region has had enough activity to condone a Regional Moderator.
Here is how this is going to work:
- You can nominate yourself or someone else to be a Regional Mod.
- The nomination period will last for 3 weeks.
- The voting time will last for 3 weeks.
- If there is a tie breaker, that will last for 3 weeks.
- After all voting is completed the thread will be locked and the winner will be made a Regional Moderator.
The beauty of this is you will get to vote on your own moderator.
Rules for nominating:
1. Only nominate one person.
2. You can only nominate and vote if you are located in this region.
3. If you have been nominated and do NOT wish to serve, please post in the thread that you retract your name from the list.
4. Once you decline the nomination, it can not be retracted.
5. If you do not retract your name from the list, you will be considered up for nomination and added to the poll for voting.
6. There will be no debating in this thread, simply post a name. All other content will be deleted.
When nominating, please consider the person correct for the position based on their ability to handle this, not because their truck is cool.
If the Moderators and Admins feel that the power of the newly elected moderator for this region is abusing his/her powers we will revoke the permissions on the person.
What is expected of you:
1. Must maintain a professional 'voice' on all subjects.
2. No bashing of other board members.
3. An understanding of when topics get out of control.
4. Keep your region 'clean' of other garbage.
5. Unsure of things, contact a Board Moderator or an Admin.
6. When locking threads give a reason why in the last post.
Oh yea, the 'job' offers lousy pay($0 annually), lousy hours, (24/7 - no holidays), and crap benefits, (none). You will have access to a Regional Moderator only section for all regional mods, board mods, and admins.
Please take this seriously.
