I am currently between paint coats on all but 2 of my skids and the sliders are sitting there taunting me to put them on now....
My question is what it the best order to put these on? Hefty's site tells the order to put the skids on so that should be easy enough to follow but I am unsure if any of the slider bolts end up under the skids once they are on.
Since they are being installed in my driveway I want all the room I can have to get under for the skids and I feel I loose a bit of space once the sliders are on, but if the bolts go under the skids, they need to go on first.
Any direction would be greatly appreciated.
As a side note; if you buy the skids, pay for the powder coat. I'm about $100.00 in on the cleaners, sanders, primer and paint for the skids as well as the whole day it is taking to get all the coats done. If I had got the coating I would not of had to remove the surface rust from picking them up at the freight yard the one day it has rained in June in Cali in who knows how many years as well as having the fun of actually doing the painting and figuring out where to leave them to harden until I get more time to put them on.
Thanks!
