How the heck do you make one. do you have to resize the pic or something. where do you get cool ones like thenewx's own "smart ass"

You need to find one that is from another site and then link it over. Go to properties on the image that you want and then add it to your avatar section in your profile. The only thing I ask is that it is not super big.

the same way you make a picture show up in a post. I don't know about anyone else but i make my avatars in Photoshop but i am sure you can find some cool pictures on the net. you have to have a place to save it to. like where you save the pics of your truck. after that go to your profile and select the "Link to off-site Avatar:" and tipe the link to that pic

There is a glitch in the system so you need to link to an off site location to do the avatar.

Do not upload.

Place an image into either. . .

www.Photobucket.com account or . . .
www.VillagePhotos.com account or another one of your choosing.

Then copy the image location and post it in the Avatar spot on your profile here on this site.
