(wonder why) http://www.evinrude.com/en-CA/E-Tec/E-TEC.Advantage/ It's a Bad azz engine, I had one and took it off, too fast for my boat! I actually thought that was a photo shop picture, because 3 motors like that will get that same boat to same speed I'd bet. Although the towing capacity of that is way up there! The Prop size, (pitch size) is what determines the speed.

I'd say the price of that motor is like 15 each, so that is a big waste of money being 3 motors can do that same trick. By the way, Suzuki has the largest & world's first outboard 4 stroke 300 HP http://www.sportfishingmag.com/article.jsp?ID=41846 And that's not the end of that show!

but 4 strokes dont have anywhere near the power of a 2 stroke and they obviously dont care about the economy. but i agree e-tecs are amazing motors
