Question 2010 X beginning mods

I just got the X approx. 4 weeks ago and just today got past the break in period. Now I want to start the mod process. I plan on doing some off roading since I live close to Rausch Creek but at the same time this is also my daily driver. Oh....Also would rather not replace rims/tires yet. I'd rather wait until new tires are needed. Any suggestions on what I should start with?

It depends on what you want to start with? Exterior, interior, engine? What's your budget? You missed out on the Volant intake groupbuy for $204 shipped for the month of March. The first mod I would do is a free one! Since I am assuming you have an "X" trim model, I am assuming don't have the cargo rails in the back, but instead you have the plastic rails. If you peel those back and rip them away, it has been revealed in a few threads that the cargo rails are underneath them. If you don't have the budget for a Volant intake, you can try the alternative deck plate mod using your stock intake: How-to: Deck Plate Mod. Your X may have not come with the in-cabin filters. You can go ahead and install those for about ~$15-$20: How-to: Replace In-cabin Micro Filter.

Thanks holywoodstylin....I already did the rail mod and am looking into the cabin filters now. Right now I have a budget of around $200 - $300 to play around with.

Get rid of the tires while they're still worth something and use that $ for better ones

If you're "Feeling the Bern", I'd get checked out for STD's.

Alright, It seems that I am going in the right direction then. I already was thinking about the skids. Thanks for the input so far!

Sex is like mud bogging. You see the hole, you think about it, you slowly ease into it, & once your in it's balls to the walls until your motor blows!
