Not a total thread jack (my '05 X is Red Brawn Pearl, also with a 2" lift), but how do you like your Cooper ATPs? Highway manners? Offroad? I was looking at the Cooper AT3s, but Discount Tire will give a good price on their ATP (exclusive to them).
I have a little over 5,000 miles on these tires. Been through the whole week in Moab and several trails here in Colorado. They have been GREAT! I bought them for a nice balance between an aggressive tread block and yet good on pavement (noise, etc.) and have not been disappointed. The increase in noise on pavement vs. the stock tires has been barely noticeable. They give me much greater confidence for off-roading because of the E-load rating and the deep tread design. I've always had good luck with Discount Tire and they even gave me a decent "trade in" value for the stock tires that only had 23k miles on them at the time. Although the Duratracs are a great tire and certainly an even better off-road performer, these ATP's are a significant $ savings vs. Duratrac if you're on a budget. I think they're a great compromise all the way around.
