Cool Death Valley Overland Adventure...

The fam and I recently returned from a five-day overland adventure in our own back yard of Southern California. We did a loop covering some incredible places:
• Trona Pinnacles
• Death Valley via the less traveled Saline Valley Steel Pass Roads and Eureka Dunes
• Alabama Hills at the entrance to Mount Whitney Portal

Great times with remote and completely free camping each night. Not a bad trip for an old dog Xterra with over 212, 000 miles. Enjoy the video!

That's the every year trip we do with Grooters to Death Valley,Saline Valley & Eureka Valley in November(veterans week).

Minus the amazing aerial photography and soundtrack.
But we do have single malt scotch,....and Grooters

Now Ya'll know what you are missing every year.......

Very nice video. Called the wife over to watch it. I usually don't like watching these things but yours was one of the best I've seen.
BTW, what RTT is that? Big fan of hardshell RTTs. Thinking of buying one.

Runners .... yeah, we're different

Nice video. Looks like a fun trip. Man all this fancy drone work is really making everyone have to step up their game!

Great video! Did a very similar trip back in November 2015 (one of the Grooters-led trips that CHUSA mentioned above). Your video brings back memories and makes me want to get back out to that area again. I particularly love the brief shot where the drone is rising up out of Dedeckera Canyon and you can see the Eureka Dunes. I remember getting through all of those obstacles and being in awe when we caught our first glimpse of the dunes as we were coming out of the canyon. It was about an hour before sundown, and the golden light off the dunes was absolutely amazing!

May I ask what drone/camera you're using? I'm in the market for one in the near future.

I'm ignorant... What's Grooters? It sounds like a fun trip to look forward to each year. Those valley are definitely worth a yearly pilgrimage.
