Xterra wont start

Hey all, new to the site so just want to thank everyone in advance.

My xterra gets alittle cranky (pun intended) when there is a big change in weather...mostly temperature. It will crank but not fire. About 4-5 attempts later it'll fire up and run fine. Is this a computer issue? It usually does this 2-3 days in a row and has happened several times now.

I also have a volant CAI installed which sets off the check engine light once in awhile. I've read this is common with the powercore filter. The code pulled is left bank lean.

Thanks for any tips....I love the thing when it actually starts.

Welcome to the site my friend!

Have you checked the fuel pump. Mine had to be replaced by Nissan. I paid for it my self and it was around $350.
I had to turn the ignition switch on for a couple of seconds before i would twist the key all the way. The singal was delayed in the prior pump.

Keep looking though..

Thanks guys....guess theyre gonna charge me to diognose the problem. I brought it in once before, they couldnt duplicate the problem (Duh it started, I was able to drive it there) so they pretty much blew me off. Hopefully they'll just replace it.
