Pathy Front Diff Question ?

Looking at a front axle assembly from a '08 V8 Pathfinder for future titan swap. Will the CVs from the Pathfinder work for the swap or do I need titan (length?)

Thanks in advance.

v8 pathy shafts are if you want to change the r180 to an m205, but want to retain stock width (xterra-width UCA/LCAs).

Thanks for the confirmation. Yard wants $30 apiece so might as well get them so the M205 doesn't have to sit in the garage with the M226 (replacing C200) while I earn for the rest of the swap parts.

holy hell that's dirt cheap!

the m205 has different gearing than your C200 does....so...you may not wanna do that if you plan on engaging 4WD before you get the m226 installed

Front and rear diff/axles will be swapped at same time to maintain gearing.

$400$ for M205 w/cvs and 1800$ for M226 w/locker switch. Hope I did well....

You did good on the m205 but could have found a lot cheaper on the m226

You can use either OEM v8 Path ones or AM ones. By doing so you don't need any Titan UCA/CO/LCA

I've bought the M205, picking up this afternoon, but not the M226 yet. Saw some cheaper ones, but was advised (Rugged Rocks) to stay away from <2008. Saw a couple of those in the ~1100$ range.

If anybody's got a lead on a M226, I'm all ears.

scope out car-parts.com for the m226. You wanna search for the "Rear Axle Assy (RWD)". Don't email the yards that pop up in the results....call them. You were advised correct to stay away from <2008...2008+ have 4 spider gears. 2005-07 have 2.

I got my locked m226 off a 2015 Pro-4X with 22K miles for $1080 shipped.

you paying $1800...is just plain ol' butthurt!
